Artist notes:
As the sun gently sets into the Pacific, water rushes up the rocks at Napili Bay where I captured this quintessential Maui sunset shot. Everything came together to make this image really stand out. The lighting was perfect, the reflection of the sun on the rocks, the flowing of the ocean. When I saw this spot, I knew I was in for a treat. I scouted it several times without taking any pics, until the day I shot this, when everything worked and I was able to capture an image that was exactly what I was hoping for.
