Artist notes:
This image has been a favorite of art critics since I first released it. And I’m glad they seem to enjoy it as much as I do. I knew when I was setting up for this shot that I was in for something special. The rolling clouds were being lit up by the fading sun. The ocean was roaring with massive shorebreak pounding the coast. And the water was streaking down the beach and around all the rocks in sight.
I took a lot of photos during this session, but this one came out better than the rest. Everything lined up perfectly for that one moment while I captured this shot. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
